Flexicommercial has partnered with Women’s Commercial Finance Forum because much more needs to be done to address the large gender diversity gap in commercial finance. Other than our own internal initiatives, partnering with organisations like WCFF that focus on supporting, encouraging and promoting women in and to this sector. flexicommercial is extremely happy to be a part of the WCFF journey.

Flexicommercial is a division of publicly listed humm group limited (“HUM”), working with finance brokers to provide tailored, flexible and timely asset finance solutions for small and medium size businesses.
We are a non-bank commercial asset financier with a national and trans-tasman presence. We only work with finance brokers – we do not deal with customers or vendors directly.
We’re dedicated to working with finance brokers – We place brokers’ and their commercial customers’ needs at the centre of everything we do, from application through to settlement and beyond. We are laser focused on service and strive to continually improve our offering.
We are a commercial asset financier – We only finance equipment and software for business which means that we are experts in what we do. Whether it’s generic or quirky assets, a low doc proposition or a transaction requiring full assessment, our experienced team works with brokers to find solutions for their commercial customers.
We have a national and trans-Tasman presence – With a team of asset finance specialists around Australia and operations in New Zealand, we can support brokers wherever their customers may be based.

Banjo is committed to driving diversity across the broader finance industry, as well as driving our internal diversity within the Banjo team. We joined the Women’s Commercial Finance Forum to provide a network for our team and wider community to be involved in.

Banjo is a working capital provider, who has assisted small to medium sized businesses since 2015. Our working capital loans enable SMEs to procure unsecured loans between $20K-$500K across 6-24 month terms. Businesses that experience peaks and troughs in their cashflow cycle have the option to procure our Flexi Working Capital loans that offer up to 4 months interest expense only period with 12-to-16-month terms. Banjo’s Single Pay loans help SMEs no longer be in a holding pattern; a bridging finance facility up to $500k helps release the working capital that you require to move your business forward.
Banjo provides smart working capital solutions, with an easy online application, quick decisions, and funding. Our proprietary technology platform analyses over 3,500 data points to understand the performance of a business, we combine that with the financial expertise of our highly experienced credit team to help businesses move forward. We also prioritize our relationships with our clients and partners, with our credit team being only a direct phone call away.
Banjo considers forward looking cash flow forecasts and secure contracts, to help understand the future performance of businesses and their true borrowing capacity. We are also the only fintech lender that provides loans between $20k-$500k per ABN and up to $1.5m to SMEs with multiple entities in a group structure – without the need for property as security.

The benefits of diversity in a business are undeniable. Different perspectives, approaches and ideas allow a business to unlock their true potential.
“What do you want to be famous for?” A rhetorical question asked by a senior executive from my prior employer. A question that has resonated with me since.
If I was to answer that question today, I would say, I want to be famous for commercial lending. I want commercial lending to be as big as residential third parties. I want to see our brokers grow and I want to see business customers be the beneficiaries of a diversified industry.

For 26 years, AFG has been on a mission to create a fairer financial future for Australians. And that starts with providing our brokers with unwavering support, powerful tools, and passionate expertise to grow their business, their future and grab hold of their dreams.
The benefits of diversity in a business are undeniable. Different perspectives, approaches and ideas allow a business to unlock their true potential. At AFG we are providing a safe environment for our female brokers to develop the personal and business skills they need to thrive in the industry. From sharing past experiences to intense business coaching programs, our focus is to attract, retain and motivate the best of the best.
We are committed to making a positive impact with all stakeholders. Whether in the community, the industry or for our customers we’re focused on making a positive social impact, creating competition and financial choice for Australians by protecting, backing and championing the broker industry on behalf of our members and challenging the status quo.
